Switching Organizations

Using the Switch Organization feature, you can access VIP Manager on behalf of a customer and update that customer's account information. When finished, you can switch back to your own organization.

While you are in the customer's account, your access to VIP Manager operations is restricted to both of the following:

You only have access to the VIP Manager operations for which you, as an administrator, have permissions. For example, if the customer has permission to access Users, Credentials, and Reports, but you only have permission to access Reports, then the Users and Credentials operations will not be available when you access the customer’s account.

You only have access to the VIP Manager operations for which the customer has permissions. For example, if the customer has permission to access only Users and Reports, then Credentials operations will not be available when you access the customer’s account.

To switch to a customer organization:

Select Switch Organization in the upper right corner of the page.

You see the Switch Organization page.

Select a category from the Search For drop-down menu.

Enter your search criteria in the Search Criteria field.

You can type the search criteria as a whole value, or just type the first few letters or numbers. VIP Manager does not support wildcard searches at this time.

From the Search Results table, select Switch Organization within the Action column for the organization name of the target customer account.

Note: To open the customer account in a new window, right-select Switch Organization, and then select Open in New Window from the drop-down list. Depending on your browser, you may also open the customer account in a new tab.

To return to your own organization, select Back to My Organization in the upper-left corner of the page.
