VIP Policy Configuration
You can view and configure the policy for VIP Manager. The policy lets you:
You might set this policy for administrators that share a single VIP Manager sign in credential.
To set the VIP Manager Policy:
Disable temporary security codes for VIP administrators at sign in. If you set this option, VIP administrators cannot generate a temporary security code for themselves when signing in. VIP Administrators that do not have access to their credentials must request a temporary security code from another administrator. That administrator must have the VIP Administrator Management (Modify) permission to request a temporary security code for another administrator.
Disable the Account Creation email sent to new VIP administrator when you create their accounts. The Account Creation email contains information about how to access the account for the first time and how to get started in VIP Manager. If you disable this option, you must notify your administrators of the new account and how to access it.
Restrict access to VIP Manager from specified IP addresses. Any attempt to access VIP Manager from an IP address other than what is configured here is denied.
Automatically disable an administrator if the administrator does not sign in to VIP Manager for a specified number of days (from 15 to 730). VIP runs a cron job daily to identify and disable VIP administrators who do not sign in within the timeframe set in the policy. Disabled administrators can only be enabled by another administrator. Once enabled, the administrator has until the inactivity threshold configured in this policy to sign in before they are disabled again.
